RIZZY

Privacy Policy

Beta version for invited testers. Last updated October 15, 2026. We'll ask you to agree again if this policy changes.

Who we are

Rizzy is an app operated by The Fraternity Intl, LLC ("we"). Aura is Rizzy's reputation feature: a score built from ratings of real-life interactions. Rizzy is currently an invite-only beta for adults 18 and older who live in California. Only approved accounts can see member content. An account is approved when it enters the invite code from a Rizzy invitation, or when the Rizzy team approves it. Privacy contact: samuel.rherrarte@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and sign-in method. If you use Google or Apple, we receive the name, email, and profile photo they share.
  • Profile details you add: name, username, age, city, bio, job, school, relationship status, social links, music, profile, cover and header photos, and an optional public mood.
  • ID check: a photo of your government ID and a selfie (see below), and the result of the check.
  • Location: only if you choose to share it (see "Location").
  • Activity: ratings and reviews you give and receive, posts, likes and reposts, wall comments, private messages and photos, missions, jobs and applications, deals and orders, buddies, reports, and blocks.
  • Wellbeing entries: your private mood diary, and what you write in the daily check-in.
  • Records about your access: when you agreed to this policy and to the ID check, and whether your beta access is approved.

The ID check

During the beta, members may complete a one-time automated ID screening. It is optional — you can skip it and still use Rizzy. It is a basic beta safety step, not identity verification. It still uses a real photo of your ID and a real selfie, so we only start after you tick a separate consent box on the ID check screen.

  • Your ID photo and selfie are uploaded to private storage that other members can't read.
  • Our server sends only those two images, with fixed instructions, to an AI model made by OpenAI through the Lovable AI service. Your name, email, and profile are not sent. The AI answers four questions: does the ID look like a real government photo ID, does it look unaltered, is the selfie a live photo of a person, and does the person appear to be 18 or older from the date of birth.
  • What the check does not do: it doesn't compare your face to the ID photo, confirm your name, or check the ID with any government database. Passing it does not prove who you are or your exact age. We don't create or keep a face template.
  • Our server deletes both photos from our storage when the check ends, whether it passes, fails, or hits an error. If an attempt is interrupted before it reaches our server (for example, you close the app mid-upload), the leftover photos are deleted at your next attempt or when you delete your account. We keep only the result (passed or not), a one-sentence reason, and the number of attempts.
  • Lovable, our AI provider, states that its AI service uses models whose providers keep no copy of requests by default, that business data isn't used to train models by default, and that its request activity log keeps summary information and, when available, redacted request content for up to 90 days. We have not received written confirmation of whether any part of the images can appear in that log, in backups, or in temporary processing files. Until we do, assume a copy may exist with Lovable for up to 90 days. If you're not comfortable with this, don't complete the ID check and tell us at samuel.rherrarte@gmail.com.

Location

  • We only ask your device for your location when you tap to share it on the Map, or when you post a mission. Your phone or browser asks for permission first.
  • We store it rounded to two decimal places (roughly 1 km), never your exact position. This rounding is enforced by our database.
  • Map: your rounded location and the time you shared it are saved on your profile. Approved members can see your pin. You can hide yourself from the map anytime, which clears the saved location.
  • Missions: a mission saves the rounded location, plus the area name and meetup note you type. Approved members can see it. It stays with the mission until you delete it or your account.

How we use your information

To run Rizzy: show your profile to approved members, calculate your Aura score from ratings, deliver messages, match missions, handle reports and blocks, and keep members safe.

We also use the same Lovable AI service and OpenAI model for:

  • Review mediation: the review's category, the four scores, the reviewer's note, and what both people write in the mediation chat. Names are not sent. The conversation and a summary are saved with the review.
  • Appeals: the same review details, the mediation summary and conversation, and your appeal reason.
  • Daily check-ins: only the text you write and the time of day, to write a supportive reply.

We don't sell or share your personal information for advertising, and we use your ID images only for the ID check.

Who can see it

  • Approved beta members: your public profile, posts, wall comments, map pin if shared, missions, jobs and deals listings, and review counts. Only you see your score breakdown, mood diary, and check-ins.
  • Private messages and photos: only you and the person you're chatting with.
  • The Rizzy team: the list of accounts and emails (to approve testers) and the reports members send.
  • Service providers: Lovable, which hosts the app, database, file storage, and AI service, and OpenAI as the AI model provider.
  • Signed-out visitors and unapproved accounts can't see member content.

Payments

Payments aren't live in the beta. Deals orders are requests that the seller unlocks manually. We don't collect card or bank details.

How long we keep it

  • ID and selfie photos: deleted from our storage when the check ends (see "The ID check").
  • Everything else: until you delete it or delete your account.
  • Reports: we plan to keep reports for 12 months after they're resolved, longer only while an investigation, appeal, dispute, or legal obligation requires it. This period is not yet applied automatically, so until a deletion process is in place, reports may be kept longer.
  • Backups: our hosting provider may keep backups for a limited period after data is deleted. We have not confirmed that period; deleted data in backups is not used in the app and expires on the provider's schedule.

Your choices and deletion

  • Edit or remove profile details anytime in Edit Profile. Delete your own posts, comments, ratings, and mood entries.
  • Block a member to stop them messaging you, rating you, commenting on your wall, adding you as a buddy, or accepting your missions. Report profiles, posts, reviews, or messages to the Rizzy team.
  • Disable your account to hide it until you sign in again.
  • Delete your account permanently from My Profile. This deletes the photos and files you uploaded, your profile, and everything linked to it: posts, comments, ratings and reviews you gave and received (including mediation and appeals), messages you sent and received (the other person's copy is deleted too), missions you posted, jobs, deals and deal orders, mood entries, consent and access records, and your sign-in account. Old photo links stop working.
  • What is kept after deletion: reports other members filed about your profile, posts, reviews, or messages, under the report period above, and copies in backups until they expire. Reports you filed are deleted with your account, as are reports about missions you posted. Missions you helped with stay with the person who posted them, without your name.

California privacy rights

As a California resident, you can ask to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you won't be treated differently for asking. We don't sell or share your personal information, and we use sensitive information (your ID images and precise location, which we round before storing) only to provide Rizzy. Email samuel.rherrarte@gmail.com with any request; we'll verify it comes from your account before acting.
